It’s pretty weird listening back to yourself on a radio broadcast. Presenter Bill Hughes was very sweet and generous with his praise of my work calling it reminiscent of couture drawings. Gerard Tannam, the business and brand expert from Islandbridge had great constructive advice for my company, Wedding Dress Ink moving forward.
The Newstalk studio was a busy hub of activity while I waited on the guest couch for someone to fetch me. I waited patiently listening in to snipits of fun conversations around me, all the time wondering what I would get asked. Aoife came to get me and we entered a small studio where Bill Hughes was already seated in George Hook’s normal chair. Gerard Tannam soon joined us and all of a sudden we were off and live. Aoife, the producer stayed quiet throughout using simple hand jestures for the guys when needed.
I’ve love to say I enjoyed it but I think that would be a step too far, however, I was really happy with how it went. The genuine enthusiasim from Bill and Gerard was wonderful and I also came away with some ideas from Gerard on how to improve my website visuals and consider how to grow the company in the future. Would I do it again? Hell YES!
The feedback from friends, family and radio listeners has been amazing – thank you one and all for such a fabulous messages of support.
