Wedding Dress Ink’s one month anniversary

Wedding Dress Ink is one month old today and what a month it’s been! Launching the website on Mother’s Day was exciting and it’s been so busy since then.

From the Make a Wish raffle prize for the Wedding Party Night to a photoshoot in Tankardstown House and then the radio interview on Newstalk (listen in here). All the good wishes, messages, enquiries and new orders have been amazing.

Celebrated last night…with my husband in our favourite nearby restaurant in the beautiful seaside town of Greystones. The Three Q’s served the most gorgeous prosecco to kick start our celebration dinner, followed by our tried and tested favourite dishes.

Wedding Dress Ink has been a year in the making, even though my first wedding dress illustration was done in early 2010, I didn’t really start thinking of it as a business until March 2012. Crafting my personal illustration style, designing a website, stationery, logo and finding the best suppliers all took time and has been so gratifying but nothing compares to buzz of the last month, actually being in business.
